What We Do
Music as Advocacy & Community
Melody Lab partners with pediatric rare disease advocacy organizations to bring music into:
-
Fundraising events
-
Awareness campaigns
-
Family gatherings and community meetings
-
Virtual concerts and story-centered programs
Our performances are more than entertainment—they are a way to help families feel seen, supported, and connected.
Our Music Programs
Advocacy Partnership Performances
Youth ensembles perform at partner organization events (virtual or in person), with short introductions that connect the music to the community’s mission.
Typical formats: piano solo/duo, chamber groups, small ensembles.

Community Concerts
We host Melody Lab concerts that highlight a partner organization or disease community, helping raise awareness and support.
Youth Music Ambassadors
Young musicians lead with empathy—helping plan programs, perform, and serve as respectful storytellers and community supporters.
What ambassadors gain: leadership, service, teamwork, and purpose-driven performance.

Who This Is For
How It Works
-
We select partner advocacy organizations (pediatric, mission-aligned)
-
We match youth musicians to events (format + timing)
-
We coordinate performance details (repertoire, logistics, accessibility)
-
We deliver thoughtfully (music + brief mission connection)
-
We build long-term partnerships (repeat engagements, shared storytelling)
